1. Nominal voltage and cell configuration
Look for the nominal voltage and the cell layout, for example 16S1P for a 51.2V pack. The nominal voltage must match the inverter or charger.
2. Capacity and energy
Capacity in Ah and energy in Wh are different measures. Check the test temperature and discharge rate used to state the figure, if the datasheet gives them.
3. Cut-off and charge voltages
The charge cut-off and discharge cut-off voltages define the working window. Two packs with the same nominal voltage can have different windows.
4. Continuous and peak current
Check the continuous discharge current, the standard charge and discharge currents, and any peak rating with its duration.
5. Temperature ranges
Charge and discharge temperature ranges are often different. Check both against your installation site.
6. Communication and protection
Note the communication interface and the list of protections. Ask for the protection thresholds in writing.
7. Dimensions, weight and transport documents
Packed and unpacked weight matter for logistics. For shipping, ask for the UN 38.3 documentation and the MSDS that match the model.
General guidance. Product values are on the product pages and in the written specification from the partner factory.
